Kasab by Jigna Chauhan is a celebration of Indian craft, textiles and timeless design.

Our work is deeply rooted in India  in its handwoven textiles, its colours, its embroideries, its traditions and, most importantly, in the hands that keep these traditions alive. We reinterpret these elements through a contemporary lens, creating pieces that feel familiar yet distinctly our own.

We do not believe in fashion that exists only for a season. We believe in clothes that acquire character with time, pieces that can be treasured, remembered and passed on.

We create clothes beyond seasons made to be worn, remembered and treasured.

The Designer

Jigna Chauhan

Jigna Chauhan is an Indian fashion designer and the founder of Kasab by Jigna Chauhan, a design house creating distinctive, art-led clothing rooted in craftsmanship, culture and individuality.

Her approach to fashion has always been deeply personal. Rather than following trends or working within the rhythm of seasonal fashion, Jigna creates through instinct, curiosity and a strong belief in her own design language. She works closely with textiles, colour, craft and silhouette, giving equal importance to the smallest detail and the overall character of a piece.

Creativity has been a part of her life since childhood. She grew up expressing herself through dance, drawing, painting, crafts and photography. As a little girl, she would make clothes for her dolls, an early expression of the instinct to create, dress and transform.

Growing up surrounded by art, dance, colour, culture and nature, Jigna continues to draw from these influences in her work. Her designs often bring together elements of India’s rich textile and craft traditions with a contemporary point of view, reinterpreting what is familiar into something unexpected.

At Kasab, every piece is thoughtfully developed with carefully considered fabrics, distinctive textiles, intricate handwork and skilled craftsmanship. The process is intentionally slow and personal, allowing the material, craft and silhouette to come together naturally. Each creation carries the character of the hands that made it and the cultural stories that continue to inspire it.

For Jigna, being a designer is not simply about creating what is fashionable at a particular moment. It is about developing a language of design that can exist beyond trends, a balance of craft, individuality, artistry and time.

Her work has received recognition through various awards and has enabled her to build Kasab into a distinctive fashion brand known for its artistic approach, craftsmanship and individual design perspective.

At its heart, Jigna’s work is about creating pieces that are not simply worn, but remembered.
